Chalk

One of the perks of taking directing is the day you get to play in the attic. The labyrinth of old furniture twists and turns while you try to find the perfect pieces to fit in your scene. It's like Gonzaga's room of requirement- inevitably you happen upon (almost) everything you need.
There is also a long standing tradition of theatre students signing a certain chalk board that lives in the attic. And luckily, even after the summer cleaning, the chalkboard still resides in its old spot untouched by the erasers perched on it's frame, looming over the names below.
Here is the story of two adorable juniors, Meg Gardner and Taylor Pedroza, leaving their mark.

Halloween is fun, but people's faces are far more entertaining.

So, I know that this blog should be just for my art. However, I just want to fill it with things that inspire me. My trip home was so refreshing! Now, a month later, the sky is turning to fall and my brain is grasping onto summer. And in my mind, nothing signifies summer more than California (but margaritas & midnight shenanigans take a close second). These photos are more for my own coping than anything else. So yes, enjoy them.

Genos in Spokane. (It's not California, but it belongs in this post)
