Winter is here! It snowed for the first time today and its official. I figure now is as good a day as any to post my newest poster (especially as it embraces the snowy spirit). Its for a readers theatre my friend is directing. So go see it and enjoy the holiday cheer!

12 Angry Jurors
A reader's theatre you should all go see, with poster art done by no other than me!
It is also directed by my beautiful friend, colleague and temporary roomie Katie Haster.
It's like 12 angry men but with ladies included...get it?

awaken the spirit
Here is the poster and the painting for GU Choir's Awaken the Spirit Concert. It went up around campus today, so go look for it!
I love this painting. (This is a better photo than the one taken with my phone) I might try to sell it at the event, so we'll see how that goes.
Enjoy.

candles & swords: it's poster time again
It's poster time again! Here are the two newest ones I have done (AND I am actually getting compensated for my work! Say what?! A major step up for this artist in training)
One is for the Gonzaga Choirs and the other is for Gonzaga Theatre and Dance. I am so excited to make more for their future events this year. I have another poster for GU Choir in the works that actually features one of my paintings.
For the Compline by Candlelight poster I used a photo I took at Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona (A very beautiful gothic church) I am so happy I got to use my photos from studying abroad for some work!
The Three Musketeers poster was also lots of fun and a surprising amount of work to get those silhouettes the way I wanted them. I tried to play with the perspective of the traditional "all for one and one for all" imagery and I think turned out to be a very effective dynamic image.
As I do more posters, I can only hope that I am getting better at collaborating. I am really happy with how these two turned out. So, look for them on campus fools! And go enjoy some music and theatre!

let's get independent
This last month I have been doing some posters for independent student productions here at Gonzaga. I really enjoy them, and hopefully you do too!
Cheers to advertising for your friends.
(This didn't actually get used for Streetcar. However, I still love it! So it's going viral online ;] )

"Sometimes I still need you"
I made this a few weeks ago whilst in a very contemplative mood. I took this photo on one magical day at the Cliffs of Moher this past fall...which just happens to be one of my happy places on the planet.
The serenity prayer is one of the tiny things that reminds me to give up the stress and hold in peace. And now it's currently my desktop. Anyway, I figured it was about time for me to share this with the world.

Hollywood&Haster
I got to play in Hollywood with one of my dearest friends Katie, and her whole lovely family! I was also happy to find out that I am not alone in my struggle with allergies to every yummy food on the planet. Katie is gluten, egg, dairy, and sugar intolerant too! OMG TWINSIES. And, she brought me a vegan, gluten and sugar free cupcake from Baby Cakes. And, I got to use my new camera for the first time! Hooray! So much happy in one day! Anyway... here are some decent pictures of my adventure with the one and only KatieCakes.
